PADI Tec 50 elearning

PADI Tec 50 Diver eLearning is a convenient way for student divers to complete the independent study portion of their Tec 50 Diver or Tec 50 Trimix Diver course from a laptop/desktop computer or mobile device.

The best experience is to study online, however, if students find themselves without internet for periods (such as when commuting or traveling) or have inconsistent, poor internet services, they can download content to study offline via the PADI Training app.

The PADI Training app is available for Apple® iOS devices and Android™ devices. It’s best if devices are no more than three generations old. Content can be downloaded in sections for download convenience with a total file size of approximately 105 MB.

PADI Tec 50 Diver eLearning provides the knowledge divers need for extended range technical diving. Divers add to their knowledge regarding risks, equipment, skills, techniques and emergency procedures, with an emphasis on technical dive planning for multi-stop decompression dives using two deco cylinders.

PADI Tec 50 Diver eLearning is also used for the Tec 50 Trimix Diver course. An additional trimix section, Knowledge Review and Exam provide the background knowledge divers need to train using trimix during the course.

PADI Tec 50 Diver eLearning includes all of the required study materials for the Tec 50 Diver and Tec 50 Trimix Diver courses including:

• FIve required and one optional independent study sections
• Diving Trimix section for the Tec 50 Trimix Diver course
• All assessments (Exercise Questions, Knowledge Reviews, Exams and eRecord)
• Tec Dive Planning sheet, Tec Diver Predive Checklist and TecRec Emergency Procedures sheet (pdfs)
