PADI Tec 40 elearning

PADI Tec 40 Diver eLearning is a convenient way for student divers to complete the independent study portion of their Tec 40 Diver or Tec 40 Trimix Diver course from a laptop/desktop computer or mobile device.

The best experience is to study online, however, if students find themselves without internet for periods (such as when commuting or traveling) or have inconsistent, poor internet services, they can download content to study offline via the PADI Training app.

The PADI Training app is available for Apple® iOS devices and Android™ devices. It’s best if devices are no more than three generations old. Content can be downloaded in sections for download convenience with a total file size of approximately 167 MB.

PADI Tec 40 Diver eLearning provides the knowledge divers need to begin their journey as a technical divers. Divers learn how technical diving differs from recreational diving, along with the risks, equipment requirements, skills, techniques and attitude it takes become a technical diver. Technical dive planning, gas planning, managing oxygen exposure and decompression, and more are covered in the interactive eLearning environment.

PADI Tec 40 Diver eLearning is also used for the Tec 40 Trimix Diver course. An additional trimix section, Knowledge Review and Exam provide the background knowledge divers need to train using trimix during the course.

PADI Tec 40 Diver eLearning includes all of the required study materials for the Tec 40 Diver and Tec 40 Trimix Diver courses including:

• Seven required and one optional independent study sections
• Introduction to Trimix section for the Tec 40 Trimix Diver course
• All assessments (Exercise Questions, Knowledge Reviews, Exams and eRecord)
• Tec Dive Planning sheet, Tec Diver Predive Checklist and TecRec Emergency Procedures sheet (pdfs)
